graffiti meets augmented reality
Were the magic happens: a group of students from "fine arts and multimedia" (including me) of the LMU Munich had the possibility to design a wall at Z COMMON GROUND, a street art project with more than 100 artists.
We decided to work around the literal frame we positioned in the middle of our graffiti artwork. Because art is more then pretty picutures framed and put up in a museum.
The interesting part: our artwork has augmented reality elements, which can be activated through the app.
My part of the artwork is "the darwin finch". I sprayed the main colours and used stencils for the leafes. Afterwards I drew the details with acrylic markers.
And here are the logo and social media posts I made: pictogram, app launch screen, instagram and facebook postings and story graphics.
